Customer Service Representative
We are searching for an organized and empathic veterinary receptionist to join our team. The veterinary receptionist's duties include scheduling appointments, taking notes for doctors, issuing invoices, and receiving payments after consultations and taking care of patients.
To be successful as a veterinary receptionist multitasking is a must as well as making pets and owners a priority. Communication and compassion are a must for this position.
Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming patients with sincerity.
- Answering telephone calls, emails and texts.
- Scheduling appointments using our designated software.
- Issuing invoices and receiving payments after appointments.
- Ability to multitask
- Being patient while performing duties in a timely manner.
Veterinary Receptionist Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience with animals.
- Previous administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Personable and compassionate disposition.
- Capacity to work well during distressing situations.
- Ability to work shifts, on weekends, and on holidays, as needed.
